The WhatsApp service for various consular / tourists related inquiries will be provided in Sinhala, Tamil, English and Italian languages.
This new service is under the “Help us to serve you better” initiative started by Ambassador-designate Satya Rodrigo at the Embassy, to streamline, improve communication and interaction and outreach with the Sri Lankan & Italian community in Italy. The service would also be used to broadcast and inform the community of news, updates and developments at the Embassy. The Embassy encourages members of the community to sign up.
The Embassy had started the initiative by placing a Box for “suggestions / comments / complaints” at the Consular area for the public. The Embassy will be implementing other measures to improve and upgrade the services shortly to serve the public better.
