The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Rome in collaboration with the Consulate General Office in Milan has repatriated the first group of 30 Sri Lankans from Italy under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Presidential Task Force (PSTF) by a Sri Lankan Airlines flight on 25.06.2020.
The group of Sri Lankans consisted of students, short term visitors and passengers with pressing medical issues. Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo today, all passengers were directed to quarantine centres in terms of the Government quarantine regulations.

Lankans, who have registered at the Embassy web portal, SRI LANKANS IN ITALY conveying their interest in
returning to Sri Lanka due to the COVID 19 situation, in order to coordinate the repatriation process, further.
