The existing travel ban on travelers to enter Italy from Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh has been extended 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 August 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 by the Italian health authority.
Accordingly, travelers those who have transited/stayed in those countries, 14 days before their arrival in Italy are prohibited to enter Italy 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 August 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭.
However, travelers regardless of the nationality, who are in dire need to visit Italy on humanitarian and serious health reasons which cannot be avoided, are permitted to apply to the Italian Ministry of Health for a special entry permission to Italy, provided those travelers do not have symptoms related to the COVID-19
